Forres Theme Day 2008

The Forres Theme Day this year was fortunate to have another good year of fabulous weather and a good turn out of both vehicles and visitors. Some of the cars again met for an early start at the Knockomie Hotel for a mystery tour and a little quiz competition before arriving at Grant Park. As the vehicles assembled, the crowd were entertained by the Tin Pan Alley Band, Charlie Dustan and the Elgin Pipe Band. There were classes for veteran and vintage cars pre 1931, post-vintage cars 1931-1944, post-war cars 1945-1959, Early classic cars 1960-1969, late classic cars 1970-1979, present day cars, motor cycles from as early as 1910, commercial vehicles, military vehicles, vehicles of special interest, tractors, and pedal cars and small toys.
